There it is! My submission for the first @kinkakera challenge! I had a lot of fun with this, especially since it started off as a really boring drawing. I realise I might not be the best at conceptualising cool ideas, but I really love exploring techniques and medias and using uncommon things to achieve different effects in my illustrations.
The flower is a flower I pressed back when I was in Gujo Hachiman - it was my favourite pressing and I loved how the colours turned once it tried out - the veins of the petals reminded me of gold, which is why I thought it would fit for that painting!
